Dallas Online Auction Company - Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Dallas Online Auction Company (DOAC). By registering and bidding on our platform, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:
Membership and Registration
There is a one-time, non-refundable $25 membership fee required to register and bid. This fee authorizes your membership across our sites, including Dallas Online Auction Company and Worldwide Auction Group. One bidder number will allow you to participate on both websites. Please ensure your registration information is accurate.
Important: The registration process takes time, so please do not wait until the last minute to register. If you delay, you may miss the opportunity to place bids in upcoming auctions.
Registration Process:
- Sign Up – Begin by registering on our website with accurate and complete information. Click here to register.
- Receive Bidder Number – After signing up, you will receive an email containing your unique bidder number.
- Pay the Membership Fee – Send the $25 membership fee via:

- Approval – Once we receive your payment, we will manually approve your account. You will then receive a confirmation via email and/or text notifying you that your registration is complete and you are cleared to bid.

General Auction Terms
- All lots are sold "As Is, Where Is" with no guarantees of condition, authenticity, or functionality. The only guarantee provided is the accuracy of the quantity stated unless otherwise noted.
- Inspection and Preview Days are highly encouraged. Auction items may be inspected in person during the designated preview times listed in each individual auction's terms.
- Bidders are responsible for loading their own purchases. Please bring necessary help, tools, and equipment.
- Pickup must occur on the designated pickup dates. Items not picked up will be subject to a $25 rescheduling fee where rescheduling is possible. In lockout or bank-ordered auctions, rescheduling may not be possible, and items may be forfeited without refund.
- Payment must be made in full, regardless of the bidder’s ability to attend the scheduled pickup time.
- By placing a bid, you are entering into a legally binding contract and agree to complete the transaction, including full payment and timely pickup.
Payments, Fees & Premiums
- Accepted Payment Methods: Cash Only. We also accept Chase Quick Pay / Zelle in most cases. No checks or credit cards will be accepted unless specified otherwise. Please check the individual Auction Terms for full payment options.
- There is a 15% buyer’s premium added to all winning bids, along with applicable taxes.

- A $25 rescheduling fee applies if you miss pickup (Where rescheduling is possible, please see individual Auction Terms)
- Unpaid invoices may be turned over to collections, with additional fees, legal action, and credit reporting.
Bidding and Auction Process
- In most cases, lots close at a rate of 3 per minute. However, in certain auctions—especially vehicle auctions or those with a large number of lots—this rate may vary. Please refer to the specific auction's details for the exact closing rate. Traditionally, if a bid is placed within the last 3 minutes of a lot’s closing time, that lot will automatically extend by 3 more minutes.
- Refunds are issued only in cases of missing items, incorrect counts, or grossly misdescribed items (example: you bid on a "Shark Steam Cleaner" but receive a "Dirt Devil Handheld Vacuum").
- Once bids are placed, they cannot be removed or altered. Double-check bid amounts before confirming.
- No merchandise may be removed until the conclusion of the auction and full payment is made. Paid receipts must be presented at pickup.
- All Sales are final. Refunds are issued only for Missing Items / Incorrect Quantity or Gross misdescription (e.g., Lot stated “Shark Steam Cleaner” vs. Received “Dirt Devil Vacuum”)
- Discrepancies must be reported immediately at pickup.
Legal Notice
All lots and merchandise are sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" with no warranties, representations, or guarantees of any kind, express or implied. Neither DOAC, its affiliates, auctioneers, franchises, sellers, nor consignors make any representation regarding authenticity, condition, quality, or fitness for a particular purpose. All information—descriptions, photographs, promotional materials—are guides only and should not be relied upon solely. All participants enter the auction premises at their own risk. Dallas Online Auction Company, its affiliates, consignors, and/or employees are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, damages, or losses. Title to each lot remains with the seller until DOAC has received full payment from the winning bidder. Once declared “sold,” risk of loss and responsibility transfer immediately to the buyer. Trading or resale of items purchased at auction is prohibited on the auction premises. DOAC reserves the right to remove, suspend, or cancel any lot at any time before or during the sale. Auctioneers, franchised associates, or their affiliates reserve the right to bid on behalf of the consignors or for their personal interest. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Dallas Online Auction Company, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your participation in the auction, your use of the premises, or breach of these Terms. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be severed, and the remainder will remain in full force and effect. These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Venue for any dispute shall be the state or federal courts located in the county the auction was held.
All sales are final. Absolutely no refunds or exchanges except as outlined above. Any discrepancies in item counts must be reported immediately at pickup.
